Miso Stir Fried Bok Choy


I absolutely love Bok Choy although Eva told me this looked like a slimy sea creature. Hope that wont put you off as I think this braised Bok Choy recipe is an easy way to enjoy it, making it a perfect side dish to any meal.

Serves 2
4 bok choy, cleaned trimmed and sliced in quarters
1/2 tablespoon of oil
1 tsp chopped garlic

1tsp miso paste
75ml water

1tsp honey

 2 tsp of dark soy sauce

1 teaspoons of sesame oil

Heat a wok over a high heat, add the oil to coat.  Add the garlic and miso and stir fry for 30 seconds.
Add the bok choy and stir fry for 1 minute, pour in the  water, honey and soy and toss everything to combine. Bring the wok to the boil, reduce the heat and simmer covered for 3 minutes or until the bok choy is tender. Sprinkle over the sesame and serve
