Build Personal Resilience and Recover from Stress

This handy visual gives a lot of helpful hints on how to build personal resilience. Resilience means we learn and grow from stressful events as well as bounce back. Think of resilience as a battery - unless we top it up, the battery will empty. Short term habits and strategies will help when we are in a particularly busy period of work or something difficult going on in our life but the long term habits as essential to ensure that we can continue to thrive. We can’t do the hard yards for ever - as Dominic says we are not all Wolverine!.

Each of us has unique stress signals and it is essential you learn to tune into what your body is trying to tell you, middle of the night waking, mind racing, cranky mood, over or under eating - all of these can mean that you are feeling stressed - learn what these are for you and take action!
