Back in my days as a University student studying Sports Science I was trying to nail down a topic for my final year dissertation. I used to love going to the libary to study but half the time I ended up reading unrelated research papers just because they sounded interesting or presented new information that was not being discussed. It’s from these geek filled evenings that I settled on spending six months doing a lit review of all the available papers relating to caffeine and sports performance.

This is a really exciting development as she has just completed a 12-week professional cooking course at the prestigious Dublin Cookery School and it gives her a great opportunity for her to share the amazing meals we enjoy. Many of the meals she prepares typically end with me saying “wow, my clients would love that. You really must post that up to share with others”.
I know lots of my readers have gone on to successfully make them (keep practicing those that tried once and failed) and my bars have become a firm favourite and life saver when you need a quick and extremely healthy snack. Bars like these are an ideal food for everyone as an emergency food.
