Training for the next level

Every week I think where am I getting better in my training and my business. When you have a goal of constant and never ending improvement (CANI)  at the forefront of your mind all the time then it’s easy to keep your training and my business moving forwards.

Training can seem like an uphill climb

Here are a few videos of the improvements I am making and more videos showing the service I provide to help you all feel and look your very best.

First up is a nice ab workout I really like – 20-2reps of sit ups and reverse ab curls.

Next is a killer workout that would be perfect for home workouts totally not feeling it for that session so working much harder on my burpees since then-

Where would you be without a session involving squat cleans and chest to bar pull ups. A nice timed session and perfect for drilling in the movements. Not sure a typical gym would like the squat cleans though -

Fnally I give you the weighted muscle up which takes it to a 100kg muscle up (i weigh 90kg) done for 10reps, followed by 10 normal muscle ups.

So there you go, more varied workouts to keep you interested and keep in mind that getting in great shape and running a successful business does not happen through accident. I am just a little more consistent and intent on constant improvement than others and I am thankful for all the people who suppport me and my work.

    Hi dominic,

On the burpees/lunges how many reps/ rounds are you doing them for. I think its 3 rounds of 20 of each is that right. I agree ab workout is a killer feeling it today. Cheers.

Cheers dominic. I have been doing a good few of your workouts which are great and very tough. Only thing is i dont know weather i should be putting them together like doing ” THE CHEIF”23minute workout and then doing say “Daniel on same day? Its just at moment im doing one work out per day say up to 5 times a week. I know i should probably be doing heavy lifting 2 times a week but im limited in my weights at home to about maybe 70kgs.

    • no you should not do something like the chief and 5mins later crossfit daniel as if you can do that then you did not work hard enough or use enough weight on the first metcon. Different days is fine but structure it that you are varying the movements in each metcon all the time.
You can still lift plenty heavy with just 70kg as you can do almost all leg exercises one leg at a time and that weight is going to be more than enough for upper body movements e.g. weighted pull ups, weighted press ups, power cleans, snatches etc

Cheers dominic to be honest i wouldnt have been able to do much after the Chief anyway as i do be wrecked. I tried the power snatch with double unders the other day and my god them double unders are killer. Also got working on burbees aswel and they are so hard. But you feel liike you’ve actually done something by doing the. So that great cheers im going to start on weighted pull ups as im crap at them and really need to concentrate on these.
